Haris Ibrahim's open letter to Anwar

Every decent and peace-loving Malaysian must read Haris Ibrahim's open letter to Anwar Ibrahim HERE.

I wish to quote three very important statements which represent the inner feelings of many of us:

"Yes, most of my friends and I, like my sister, have long forgiven you for your involvement in the atrocities committed by Mahathir during his reign of destruction and pillage, even if only by association and your failure to dissociate with his regime.
But like you, we, too, have not forgotten.
Just as remembrance will serve you well, so too us."

"Before I proceed further, so as to lessen the hurt, if any, of what I am about to say, let me first say that whilst I have the highest regard for YB Lim Kit Siang and YB Lim Guan Eng, yet in the matter of the politics and governance of this nation, I do not trust them implicitly and without question, because they are politicians and 50 years of BN politics has delivered a hard and painful lesson to many of us.
Don’t trust politicians completely."

"In the run-up to polling day on the 26th, my friends and I will be in Permatang Pauh to help you in any way we can.
By God’s Grace, you will soon be returned to Parliament. May He also continue to bestow you with wisdom and courage to discharge your duties faithfully."

Sure both of you are welcome!........but where is that place?
I also don't know...P.Puah..and will be guided by road signs.
All I know..is either to rough it out at P.Pauh will 10 NGOs..renting a school hall..no beds....two toilets...two bath rooms....all sleep on cement.
So I going to buy two sleeping bags.
Or..stay at Bukit Mertajam....if hotel is available.

hi Justin..no way will I cross over to Penang on this trip.....that is if that place you are talking ..is at Penang.
There will be road blocks....and my sole purpose is to be P.Pauh...day and night..after the election...to be with my NGOs friends.
Where the heck is Permatang Pauh??
I have been to Bukit Mertajam...and Lunas Buddhist Monastry...stayed overnight...but never heard of P.P.

Monsterball,

Hotel Sunway is now "taken over" by your good friend AAB and his gang. It is the only premium hotel in Seberang Prai. Don't bother to look for hotel rooms; as far as I know all accommodation fully taken!!

Then why do you want to meet me.. at atmosphere that have fouls smells all over the building?
I think Permatang Pauh football field is the best.Afterall....I will like to spend my time at PP...and who knows...at 3pm...my hero is going to give a speech..and I miss it...because we are at a coffee house.

Monsterball,

I choose Sunway bec it's a landmark. Up to you. You decide and we'll find our way to meet you.

Dr Hsu has emailed me with your mobile numbers

monsterball said...

So let me have a phone message.....to know your HP number.

monsterball,

Do you have a reservation or not? If you don't, please let me know and I'll try to arrange accommodation for you. I need to know how many people and for how many days.

No promises but I'll try.

There are no more walk-in rooms in Butterworth.

If you are interested, the bloggers are staying in City Bayview (on Penang Island), I could try there for you but no promises. I've been out of the workforce for 10 yrs now so no more contact.

But there are many 2-3 star hotels around the area.

Let Justin or Doc know.

Forget about staying in PP or the Penang mainland. All hotel rooms are fully booked unless you have an early reservation.

monsterball, if you are one, you can stay with me and we can cross over to PP each morning (my bro-in-law is a PKR man and we intend to be in PP everyday until Sunday). I live next to Gurney Plaza but its up to you. Sorry I can't accommodate more than one.

Thank you very much. You are so kind.
I and my driver...just the two of us....and I prefer to stay near P.P..if there is a hotel room available.
I have 10 NGOs waiting for me there too.
I tell you a secret...I only look for hot water to bathe!! Other than that...no problem...even sleeping at cement floor. I have bought two sleeping bags.....just in case.
Anyway..few days more.
Justin have got my HP.
We will talk...when I arrive.
Again.....many thanks for your kind hospitality.
My wonderful maid fed me with pepper chicken...vege..soup and Indon sambal chillipadi.......one of my favourite!!
I finished all...including the chillipadi..and now ...not feeling well.
I hope to recover soon.

monsterball said...

Yip.....Staying in the hotel...waiting for both of you.
Had a hectic evening...slept and now the only one commenting at the lobby!
